Rensie Panda

She was recently in Bonn, Germany finalizing the technical drafting of the Paris Climate Change Agreement. This agreement was presented at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) in Paris earlier this month. COP21 is crucial because it will determine if the new international agreement on climate change will be accepted by all countries to keep global warming below 2 degrees Celsius.According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), global warming of more than 2 degrees Celsius has serious consequences and cause an increase in the number of extreme climate events. Rensie and the other delegates of the 195 States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) have been preparing for COP21 for the past year.
